Sample Initial Rollout Email
Why Communicating Before Launch Matters
Before employees log in to Tenor for the first time, it's important to clearly communicate what Tenor is, why your organization is introducing it, and how it will support their growth.
Without context, employees may view a new platform as "just another tool" or feel uncertain about how it fits into their day-to-day work. A thoughtful rollout message helps set expectations, build excitement, and increase adoption by connecting Tenor to the real challenges employees face—whether that's giving feedback, navigating difficult conversations, leading through change, or developing stronger communication skills.
The sample email below can be customized and shared with your team before launch to help ensure employees understand the value of Tenor and feel prepared to get started on day one.

How to Promote Tenor in Your Workflow (Slack, Teams, etc.):

Example: “Before we wrap up, I want to give a quick shoutout to a new tool we’re rolling out: it’s called Tenor. It’s designed to help you practice the leadership conversations we all navigate — things like giving feedback, addressing underperformance, or managing change. It’s totally self-paced, and you can log in through [SSO method or login link]. I’d encourage everyone to try at least one scenario this week. We’ll also have a live workshop coming up if you want to see it in action or build your own scenarios. I think you’ll really like it.”
