Authentication Methods Supported by Tenor
At Tenor, we offer several authentication methods to meet your organization’s security needs:
- Email One-Time Passcodes (OTPs): Users receive a unique, time-sensitive passcode via email during the login process, eliminating the need for traditional passwords.
- Google OAuth: Users can log in with their Google account (personal or corporate).
- Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML or OIDC: Organizations can authenticate users through their existing identity provider using SAML or OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Passwords: Available only through organization-specific login pages (e.g.,
/<organization_slug>/login
), not the main Tenor login page. Passwords must be at least 10 characters long and use at least 2 of the 4 character types (lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and symbols).
Customizing Authentication for Your Organization
We can enable or disable any of these authentication methods based on your specific needs. To customize your authentication settings, contact your Tenor representative.
