Internationalization (Language Translation) in Tenor

We’re excited to announce that Tenor now supports 10 languages, empowering teams across the globe to learn and grow with confidence. Both Roleplay Practice and Coach are fully localized, so you can seamlessly interact in your own language—whether you prefer Voice Mode or Text.

Currently supported languages include:

🇯🇵 Japanese
🇫🇷 French
🇩🇪 German
🇮🇳 Hindi
🇷🇺 Russian
🇵🇹 Portuguese
🇮🇹 Italian
🇳🇱 Dutch

What’s Translated Today

The Roleplay Practice experience and AI Coach sessions are localized in all 10 languages. Currently, other elements of the user interface (e.g. buttons) are available in English, Spanish, French (France & Canada), German, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, and Italian.

For now, Japanese, Hindi, and Russian are available for Roleplay Practice and AI Coach sessions, but the full user interface isn’t fully localized in those languages yet. We’re actively working to expand full UI localization to these languages soon.

Changing the Roleplay Scenario Language

To practice a scenario in another language:

Go to the Library.
Select a scenario and click Continue.
Before you start practice, look to the bottom right of the screen for the language selector.
Choose your preferred language before clicking “Start Practice.”

Changing the AI Coach Language

To use the AI Coach in another language:

Navigate to the Coach tab.
Click the microphone icon in the Coach search bar.
Change the language from the top-right corner of the screen.
- Or, simply speak to the Coach and ask to switch to your desired language.
