How does Tenor keep my data private?
At Tenor, we prioritize the privacy and security of our customers and end-users. Here’s how we handle your data:
- Conversation Data: We do not retain audio recordings or full transcripts of conversations once they are completed. We also have a Zero Data Retention agreement in place with our subprocessors (OpenAI and Anthropic), so they don't retain any of our data.
- Customer conversation data is never used to train AI models, either by us or by our vendors.
- We do store a brief summary of each conversation, devoid of sensitive information, along with the feedback provided to the user. This data is accessible and can be deleted by the user, and is only accessed by Tenor staff for debugging purposes.
- We never let organization administrators view conversation data directly. They can only see the resulting score from the conversation, and aggregate statistics.
- Other Data: We also gather (and store securely) user information such as name, email address, and job title, and may gather other transactional data in the course of providing our service.
- Data Usage: We will never sell your data, or transfer it to a third party for any purpose other than providing our service. Neither Tenor nor our subprocessors use customer data to train our AI models.
- Data Security Practices: We follow data security best practices. Among other things, this includes storing minimal data, employing best-in-class vendors for authentication and data processing, and ensuring encryption wherever feasible.
- Subprocessors: Our servers and database are hosted on the Vercel cloud. Our key subprocessors include OpenAI, Stytch, Sindarin, ElevenLabs, and PostHog. Please note that this list of subprocessors is subject to change, and we encourage you to contact your Tenor representative for the most current information.
- SOC 2 Compliance: Tenor is SOC 2 Type I compliant! Feel free to read more about this in our Trust Center and check out our Privacy Policy.
